Foundational clean-energy literacy for facilities, operations and sustainability staff. Participants learn solar PV fundamentals, how grid and storage interact, the Malaysian incentive landscape, and a first look at site assessment.

An introductory programme for organisations evaluating solar, aimed at facility and operations managers, finance staff and business owners rather than at installers. Participants cover how photovoltaic systems work at a practical level, system components and configurations, sizing against actual consumption patterns, and the roof and site conditions that determine feasibility. The commercial half covers Malaysian schemes including net energy metering and self-consumption, payback calculation, financing and power purchase arrangements, and the questions to ask a vendor. The session also covers how a solar installation interacts with an ISO 50001 energy management system and with Scope 2 emissions reporting. Participants finish able to assess a vendor proposal critically.
