Cloud-Platform Foundations (AWS / Azure)

Baseline cloud literacy for every role, not just engineers. Participants learn the service models (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), compute and storage basics, identity and access management, and how cloud cost works, finishing with a hands-on console lab so the concepts are real, not abstract.

The programme is deliberately vendor-neutral in its concepts while using AWS and Azure consoles for the practical work, so participants can apply it whichever platform their organisation has chosen. It suits finance, procurement, project and management staff as much as engineers, because most of the expensive cloud mistakes are commercial and architectural rather than technical. Alongside the service models and core building blocks, the session covers the shared responsibility model, which determines what your provider secures and what remains yours, and the cost structures that make cloud bills unpredictable. Participants finish with a hands-on console lab so the concepts attach to something concrete.
