Programme Focus

The focus is the employee's working environment and handling decisions. General cybersecurity awareness covers the wider threat picture, while Microsoft 365 awareness focuses on that collaboration platform.

Programme Agenda

01

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Map Your Working Environment

Identify where work happens, which devices are permitted and what information travels with the employee. Review who can see or overhear work and which situations require a different location or channel.

02

10:00 AM to 10:15 AM

Break

03

10:15 AM to 11:30 AM

Accounts and Approved Devices

Follow approved sign-in protection, screen-lock and update arrangements. Separate work material from personal sharing and identify how to request help when a device cannot meet the organisation's requirements.

04

11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Networks and Remote Access

Discuss approved remote-access tools and the limits of trusting a network because of its name. Practise checking the expected service and reporting unusual access requests rather than installing an unapproved workaround.

05

12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

Lunch

06

1:30 PM to 2:45 PM

Meetings, Files and Physical Privacy

Review guest meetings, screen sharing, printed documents and shared household equipment. Choose appropriate permissions and protect conversations and displays in public or shared spaces.

07

2:45 PM to 3:00 PM

Break

08

3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Lost Devices and Suspicious Activity

Prepare the reporting details needed if a device is lost or an account behaves unexpectedly. Identify approved alternate contacts when the normal messaging account is unavailable.

09

4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Practical Exercise: Work From a Temporary Location

Plan a fictional day involving a hotel, a client meeting and an urgent document request. Identify unsafe shortcuts and produce a location, access and reporting checklist.
