AI Agent Security & Reliability (AIUC-1) Fundamentals Training
A one-day introduction to AIUC-1 for organisations building, buying or deploying AI agents. Participants use a customer-support agent scenario to understand how agent permissions, data access and autonomous actions create risks, and how AIUC-1 structures safeguards and evidence for security, safety and reliability.
Who should attend: AI product owners, business and technology managers, procurement, risk, compliance, privacy and security teams. No coding, machine learning or prior AIUC-1 knowledge is required.

Programme Agenda
9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
AI Agents and the Purpose of AIUC-1
Distinguish a chatbot from an agent that can call tools or take actions. Map a simple agent's users, model, tools, data and deployment boundaries. Explain how AIUC-1 complements broader governance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001.
10:00 AM to 10:15 AM
Break
10:15 AM to 11:30 AM
Data, Privacy and Security
Introduce the Data & Privacy and Security domains through access restrictions, customer data handling, prompt injection and unauthorised tool use. Identify basic safeguards such as least privilege and separation of sensitive data.
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Safety and Reliability
Explore harmful outputs, unreliable answers and unintended actions. Discuss use-case limits, evaluations, adversarial testing, human escalation and fallback behaviour. Distinguish a successful demonstration from repeatable test evidence.
12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
Lunch
1:30 PM to 2:45 PM
Accountability and Society
Introduce the Accountability and Society domains. Assign owners, document agent behaviour and limitations, and consider transparency, misuse, incident response and impacts on people beyond the immediate user.
2:45 PM to 3:00 PM
Break
3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Evidence and Independent Assessment
Recognise useful evidence: agent inventories, permission records, policies, evaluation results, monitoring logs and incident procedures. Explain the role of independent testing and assessment, and why the current standard release and system scope must be checked before making assurance claims.
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Practical Exercise: Review a Support Agent
Assess a fictional agent that can access customer records and issue refunds. Map risks across all six domains, choose safeguards and evidence, and decide which actions need human approval before deployment.
Key Outcomes
- Explain AIUC-1's purpose and its six domains
- Identify common risks from AI agent data access and tool permissions
- Match agent risks to safeguards and evidence
- Distinguish AIUC-1 agent assurance from ISO 42001 management system certification
- Prepare a basic agent risk and evidence checklist

Course Completion and Next Steps
Orbix provides independent fundamentals training. The Certificate of Completion is not AIUC-1 certification, accreditation or an authorised auditor credential. AIUC-1 assurance requires the applicable independent assessment process. Course content references the Q4 2026 release; the current requirements are checked before delivery.
