This programme is part of our Industry 4.0 track and sits at the heart of manufacturing productivity — the single largest HRD Corp claimable sector in Malaysia. Participants learn the DMAIC problem-solving method, how to map and improve processes, eliminate waste, and apply basic statistical process control, then complete a real Yellow/Green Belt project during the workshop.
HRD Corp SBL-Khas Claimable
DMAIC Methodology
Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control. How the five-phase DMAIC roadmap structures improvement work and keeps projects grounded in data rather than opinion.
Process Mapping & Waste Elimination
Value-stream mapping, spaghetti diagrams and the eight wastes (TIMWOOD). Identifying non-value-adding steps and building a leaner flow on the shop floor or in the back office.
Statistical Process Control Basics
Control charts, process capability (Cp / Cpk), common vs special cause variation. Knowing when a process is stable enough to improve and how to keep it stable.
Root-Cause & Measurement System Analysis
Cause-and-effect, 5 Whys, Pareto, and a practical introduction to gauge R&R so participants trust the data they measure.
Yellow / Green Belt Project Work
Participants scope a live improvement project, apply DMAIC tools to it, and present a before/after case with quantified savings. This becomes the basis of the Belt assessment.
Training Mode Physical / Online / Hybrid / e-learning
