ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Awareness
A one-day grounding in ISO 14001 for organisations under environmental pressure from regulators, customers or their own sustainability commitments. An ESG report describes performance. An environmental management system is what produces it. Organisations that report first and build the system later usually find their numbers cannot be defended, which is exactly the problem assurance is designed to expose.
The session covers the clause structure, then the two requirements that carry the most weight in practice: identifying environmental aspects and impacts across a lifecycle perspective, and maintaining compliance obligations against Malaysian environmental law. Operational planning and control, including controls over outsourced processes and procurement requirements passed to suppliers.
