ChatGPT for Business
A one-day hands-on programme for teams already using ChatGPT informally and ready to use it properly. Most staff have tried it for a quick draft or a one-off question, but have not used Custom GPTs, Projects, or Advanced Data Analysis, and have never looked at what their organisation's workspace plan actually controls on data retention and training. The gap between casual use and organised use is where most of the available time saving is still sitting unclaimed.
The day is built around real work rather than a tour of menus. Participants build a Custom GPT and a Project for their own recurring task, run Advanced Data Analysis against a spreadsheet they actually use, and leave with a written prompting approach rather than a collection of tricks. The afternoon covers verification habits and the categories of task where a confident wrong answer is expensive, plus the workspace admin settings that decide what happens to the data staff paste in.

Welcome and Programme Overview
Introduction to the session, objectives, and housekeeping.
9:15 AM - 10:15 AM

10:15 AM - 10:30 AM
Break
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Advanced Data Analysis for Everyday Spreadsheets
Uploading a spreadsheet, asking for cleaning, analysis and charts, letting the code interpreter run real calculations rather than guessing, and checking its working before trusting the output.
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Prompting That Produces Something Usable
Specifying context, audience, format and constraints, iterating rather than accepting the first answer, and prompts built for drafting, summarising and structured output.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM
Lunch
1:30 PM - 2:15 PM
Team and Enterprise Admin Controls
Workspace accounts versus personal accounts, data retention settings, training opt-out, member management, and why business data should never run through a personal free account.
2:15 PM - 3:15 PM
Verifying Output Before You Use It
Categories of task where it is reliable, such as drafting, brainstorming and first-pass summarising, versus where a human check is mandatory, such as facts, calculations and anything client-facing.
3:15 PM - 3:30 PM
Break
3:30 PM - 4:15 PM
Building a Personal and Team Workflow
Saved prompts and Custom GPTs for recurring tasks, sharing a useful Custom GPT with a team, and measuring honestly whether it actually saved time.
4:15 PM - 4:45 PM
Applied Practice
Participants build a Custom GPT or Project for one recurring task from their own role and test it against a real example.
4:45 PM - 5:00 PM
Wrap-Up and Q&A
Key takeaways, next steps, and close.
