OKRs & Team Performance
Outcome-focused goal setting for teams that are tired of activity-based KPIs. Participants learn OKR design, how to cascade goals across a team, the tracking cadence that keeps them alive, and the health metrics that stop a narrow target from breaking the business.
OKRs fail in most organisations for the same reasons, and the course is organised around avoiding them: objectives written as tasks, key results that measure activity rather than outcome, cascading that turns into micromanagement, and linking OKRs to compensation, which reliably produces conservative targets. Participants write and critique real objectives and key results for their own teams, then work through the operating rhythm that makes the framework function, including check-in cadence, scoring, and what to do with an objective that is clearly not going to be met. Suitable for leadership teams and managers introducing or resetting OKRs.
