Scrum Master / Agile Fundamentals

Foundational Agile delivery for teams adopting Scrum. Participants learn the Scrum roles and events, how backlog refinement works, estimation techniques, and run a simulated sprint so the framework clicks before they return to work.

The programme covers agile principles before Scrum mechanics, because teams that adopt the ceremonies without the principles usually end up with the same process under new names. Participants work through the Scrum framework in full, covering roles, events and artefacts, backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint planning and review. The Scrum Master role gets particular attention as a facilitator and impediment remover rather than a project manager with a new title. The session also covers the practical reality of running Scrum inside an organisation that is not agile elsewhere, which is the situation most Malaysian teams are actually in. Participants finish having run a full sprint cycle in simulation.

Scrum Master / Agile Fundamentals runs for 2 days, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is delivered as an in-house closed group session, so the schedule can be adjusted to fit your team's working hours.

Yes. Delivery options are physical, online, hybrid, e-learning. In-house sessions run at your premises anywhere in Malaysia, online sessions run live over video conference, and hybrid combines both for teams split across sites.

Orbix runs this as its own HRD Corp claimable workshop with an Orbix certificate. Participants can also sit the Scrum Alliance CSM exam separately. Each certificate carries a certificate number that can be checked at orbixtech.my/certificate-verify.

Level: Beginner. The session is built around worked examples and group exercises rather than theory, so participants apply the material to their own organisation during the session.

Half-day and full-day sessions are quoted per session for a closed group, from RM 800 and RM 1,750 respectively. Advanced 2-day programmes are quoted per participant, from RM 4,000. All figures are before any HRD Corp levy claim.
