Corporate Governance & Integrity

Strengthening Governance Through Ethical Leadership

A programme on how good governance and integrity work together. Clarify the roles of the board, management and employees in upholding accountability, transparency and ethical business practices - grounded in Malaysian governance expectations such as the MCCG.

The programme covers governance as it applies to Malaysian companies specifically, drawing on the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance and the Companies Act 2016 rather than on general principles. Participants work through board composition and independence, the roles of board committees, directors' duties and the liability that attaches to them, disclosure and transparency obligations, and stakeholder accountability. Integrity is treated as a governance outcome rather than a separate topic, covering tone from the top, conflict of interest management, related party transactions and the whistleblowing channel. It suits directors, senior management, company secretaries and governance staff.
