Minutes of Meeting and Report Writing
A one-day programme on the two documents that carry the most institutional memory and get the least attention. Minutes are usually either a transcript nobody reads or a summary so thin that six months later nobody can tell what was decided or who agreed to it. Reports are usually organised around how the work was done rather than around what the reader has to decide.
Participants take minutes from a live recorded meeting, compare their versions, and rebuild them against a decision-and-action structure. The afternoon covers reports end to end, from framing the question through to the executive summary, which is written last and read first.
