Bursa CSI Sustainability Reporting Platform Clinic

A half-day hands-on clinic for the people who actually operate the submission. Bursa Malaysia's Centralised Sustainability Intelligence platform is the channel through which listed issuers file sustainability data, and it changes the reporting task from writing a narrative statement to populating a structured dataset that will be compared against every other issuer on the exchange.

This is not a strategy session. It assumes the organisation already knows what it needs to report and focuses on getting the submission through cleanly: how the platform is structured, what each common data point is asking for, where the validation rules will reject an entry, how to handle a data point that genuinely does not apply, and what the internal review and sign-off chain has to look like before anyone presses submit. Best taken by the preparer and the reviewer together.

Programme Agenda

01

9:00 AM - 9:15 AM

Welcome and Programme Overview

Introduction to the session, objectives, and housekeeping.

02

9:15 AM - 10:00 AM

What the CSI Platform Is For

Why Bursa centralised sustainability data collection, how the platform relates to the sustainability statement in the annual report, and what happens to the data once it is filed. The consequence of structured filing: your numbers become directly comparable to your peers', and inconsistencies between the platform and the published report become visible.

03

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

The Common Data Points, One by One

A walkthrough of the common sustainability matters and their indicators, including the greenhouse gas emissions, energy, water, waste, workforce, health and safety, anti-corruption, community and supply chain data points. What each one is actually asking for, the unit expected, and the definitional traps in the ones that look simplest.

05

11:15 AM - 12:00 PM

Submission Workflow, Validation and Error Handling

Working through the submission process step by step: user roles and access, entering and importing data, the validation rules and the errors they raise, saving and resuming, and the point of no return. Handling data points that do not apply to your business, partial-year data, and restated prior-year figures.

06

12:00 PM - 12:40 PM

Internal Review, Sign-Off and the Preparation Pack

Building the internal pack that gets assembled before submission week rather than during it: the source workbook, the reconciliation to the annual report, the review evidence and the approval. Who signs off, at what level, and what record of that approval is retained. A checklist participants take away and use directly.

07

12:40 PM - 1:00 PM

Clinic and Q&A

Open clinic on participants' own submission problems, followed by close.
