Power BI for Business: Fundamentals

This programme is for participants who have never used Power BI or have only explored it briefly. It covers the core skills needed to connect data, build reports, and create dashboards that help teams make better decisions. No prior data or technical background required.

The first of the three Power BI programmes, aimed at people who currently build their reporting in Excel and have reached its limits. No prior Power BI experience is assumed. Participants connect to data sources, shape and clean data in Power Query, build a simple model with relationships, and create their first set of visuals, then publish and share the result. The session deliberately spends time on the conceptual shift that trips up Excel users, which is moving from a single flat sheet to a model with related tables, because getting that right early prevents most of the problems that surface later.
