ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Awareness
A one-day grounding in ISO 45001 for organisations that already do safety and now need to show it is managed. The catalogue's HIRARC and Workplace Safety course covers hazard identification and risk assessment at the working level. ISO 45001 is the system that sits above it: how hazards are eliminated rather than merely controlled, how workers participate, and how the organisation proves any of it to an auditor or a regulator.
The session covers the clause structure and the requirements that distinguish 45001 from earlier safety standards, particularly consultation and participation of workers, which is the clause most organisations underestimate. Throughout, requirements are mapped onto Malaysian duties under the Occupational Safety and Health Act as amended in 2022, so participants can see where the standard and the law overlap and where the standard asks for more.
