ISO 50001 Energy Management
A technical extension of Orbix's ESG line for organisations that consume serious energy. Participants learn energy policy and planning under ISO 50001, auditing, the performance indicators that prove savings, and the continual-improvement loop the standard requires.
This is an awareness-level introduction to the energy management system standard, aimed at organisations deciding whether to certify and at staff who will operate the system afterwards. Participants work through the clause structure, energy review and baseline setting, energy performance indicators, and the significant energy uses that determine where effort concentrates. The relationship with the Energy Audit course is direct: the audit finds the opportunities, and ISO 50001 is the management system that makes improvement continuous rather than a one-off project. Integration with ISO 14001 and with GHG reporting obligations is covered, since the same consumption data serves all three.
