Power BI Training: Reports & Dashboards

A hands-on one-day programme teaching Power BI Desktop, Power Query, data modelling and DAX for building professional reports and dashboards.

This is the middle course of the three Power BI programmes in the catalogue, sitting between Fundamentals and Advanced Analytics. It assumes you can already load data and build a basic visual, and concentrates on the part most self-taught users skip: shaping a report so it answers a question rather than displaying everything available. Participants work through visual selection, filtering and slicers, drill-through, bookmarks, conditional formatting and report-level design, then publish to the Power BI Service and set up scheduled refresh. The day closes with each participant rebuilding one of their own existing reports against what they have learned, which is usually the point at which the difference between a dashboard and a data dump becomes obvious.

Yes. Delivery options are physical, online, hybrid, e-learning. In-house sessions run at your premises anywhere in Malaysia, online sessions run live over video conference, and hybrid combines both for teams split across sites.

Half-day and full-day sessions are quoted per session for a closed group, from RM 800 and RM 1,750 respectively. Advanced 2-day programmes are quoted per participant, from RM 4,000. All figures are before any HRD Corp levy claim.
